Our main framer Dave has been picture framing for over 17 years now. He originally started out training with his father who already had years of experience behind him.
He also worked alongside his Dad in the shop Frames and Pictures which resided on King Street in Whalley.
Our workshop was set up to compliment Frames and Pictures, supplying bespoke frames to photographers and artists across the North West, as well as several shops and other framers.
When the shop closed, we decided to offer a complete service to both trade and retail from these premises.
Melanie, Dave's wife, has become more involved in the framing side of the business as well as offering her own range of wonderful hand crafted gifts.
We also currently have 2 good friends who help out almost every week on a voluntary basis. Their main role is to cut the glass and backs for our frames; however they both bring years of framing experience and a great sense of humour to the fold.
We also have our resident dog, Sam Finch The Framer (His Kennel Club name!) the black Cocker Spaniel
Also, all 5 of our children have mucked in over the years in various ways as well as parents making it a real family business!
